17 Area Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

More than a dozen area residents were among those arrested by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley over the weekend.

Local residents charged were: 

Sullivan County

  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police in Ellenville arrested Dylan Eidel, age 44 of Woodbourne, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 55 in the town of Wawarsing when he was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

Orange County

  • On Friday, Jan. 10, State Police from Middletown arrested Relina Butler, 41 of Middletown, for DWI. She was traveling in the city of Middletown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, Jan. 10, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Anna Ayoub, 32 of Port Jervis, for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Wawayanda when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. 
  • On Friday, Jan. 10, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Miguel Barbechi, 39 of Middletown, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on North Street in the city of Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, Jan. 10, State Police from Hamptonburg arrested Debra Steffanci, 52 of Montgomery, for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Jan. 11, State Police from Middletown arrested Morgan Masi, 22 of Circleville, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 17K when she was involved in a single-vehicle crash in the town of Crawford. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Jan. 11, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Elizabeth Garcia, 36 of Middletown, for DWI. She was traveling on Wickham Avenue in the city of Middletown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Jan. 11, State Police from Montgomery arrested Tamaya Parker, 22 of Newburgh, for DWI. She was traveling on Washington Street in the city of Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Jan. 11, State Police from Montgomery arrested Tamaya Parker, 22 of Newburgh, for DWI. She was traveling on Washington Street in the city of Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Jan. 11, State Police from Highland arrested Demostenes Lopez-Reluz, 50 of Newburgh, for DWI. He was traveling on the Mid Hudson Bridge in the town of Lloyd when he was involved in single-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. 
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Middletown arrested Amy Creeden, 44 of Montgomery, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 17K in the town of Wallkill when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Robert Bonilla, 49 of Middletown, for DWI. Troopers responded to an erratic operator on Dolson Avenue in the city of Middletown. Upon arrival, troopers observed the vehicle parked on the side of the road. Upon interviewing the Bonilla it was determined that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Aristeo Hernandez, 28 of Goshen, for DWI. He was traveling on County Road 50 in the town of Wawayanda when he was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Greenville (Orange County) arrested Sarai Acevedo, 28 of Westtown, for DWI. Troopers responded to Dolson Avenue to assist the City of Middletown Police with a traffic stop on Dolson Avenue. Investigation revealed that Acevedo was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Hamptonburg arrested Alejandro Crespo Contreras, 25 of Chester, for DWI. He was traveling on Quassaick Avenue in the town of New Windsor when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. 
  • On Sunday, Jan. 12, State Police from Highland arrested Joseph Stafford, 52 of Highland, for DWI. He was traveling on Mae Lane in the town of Lloyd when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Monday, Jan. 13, State Police from Montgomery arrested Caitlyn St John, 30 of Newburgh, for DWI. She was traveling on Broadway in the city of Newburgh when she was involved in a two-car crash. Investigation that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
